Artisan Empowerment & Carpentry

The Artisan Empowerment Program provides a platform and market opportunities to refugee artisans who often come here without a network and knowledge of how to make money from their sewing and carpentry skills. In 2023 we piloted an effort called Sew Successful, that trained 48 artisans. And in 2026, we expanded it to a five month program to teach 18 participants commercial sewing skills, financial literacy, and will look to match participants with contract sewing opportunities.
