Join the "Newcomers to Neighbors" Program – Your Pathway to a New Beginning

**NEXT COHORT BEGINS APRIL/MAY 2026***

Are you a refugee family that has arrived in the U.S. within the last

12 months? Homes Not Borders is proud to introduce the Newcomers to

Neighbors program, designed to help you adjust to life in the U.S. and

lay the foundation for long-term success.

Through this program, you will be paired with dedicated American volunteers who will guide you in navigating daily life and accessing essential resources. And there is no cost to you! Our volunteers are here to support you in becoming

confident, self-sufficient, and fully integrated into your new community.

Program Highlights:

• 4-Month Commitment:The program requires a 4-month commitment, with mandatory meetings and family events designed to help you gain the skills needed to thrive.
• Ongoing Support: You'll receive help in understanding important life activities, from managing daily tasks to connecting with local services.
• Empowerment: By the end of the program, you'll be equipped with the tools to confidently navigate life in the U.S. independently.
• A Sense of Belonging: More than just resources, this program will help you feel like part of your new community. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with both volunteers and other refugee families in your area, possibly making lifelong friends.
