Refugee & SIV Wish Lists
Many refugees and SIV (special immigrant visa) holders who arrived in the last few years have moved into new places and/or have expanded their families, and could use help purchasing new items for their home. And during this COVID-19 crisis many have lost their regular income, and are in need of assistance more than ever. Please consider helping one of these families in need with a gift from their wish lists.
The Safi family moved to the United States in the beginning of 2019 after leaving Afghanistan where, the father had worked for the U.S. military. They hope to move to a new home soon and needs new furnishing for themselves and their toddler-aged daughter.
The Stanekzai family arrived in the United States in 2018 after leaving Afghanistan. While Mohammad worked for the U.S. military in Afghanistan, he has struggled to find work here to support his wife and four young children. They could use your help with some new furnishings and household items.
The Aikhlif family is a Syrian refugee family who arrived in the United States about four years ago. They are welcoming a baby soon and need lots of new items for the new baby and their growing family.
