Share about the Week of Action and how HNB is helping refugees.

Engage at least 4 friends to sign up for our newsletter or like us on social (all links in footer).

June 14th

MOVE

Volunteer for 4 hours to help move furniture to be used by new refugees.

We will be moving 10 to 15 rooms of furniture from Bolling Airforce Base to our warehouse – lots of helpers needed!

June 15th

LEARN

Attend a Zoom panel about updates in refugee resettlement & how you can help.

In the Refugee Resettlement 101 Zoom, learn about the new Private Sponsorship model and Humanitarian Parole for certain groups, along with traditional resettlement.

June 16th

DONATE

Give money and help fundraise $44,444 to support HNB’s work welcoming refugees. Donate online or by check or crypto. And we encourage people to set up their own Facebook or Instagram fundraisers for $444.

June 17th

SET UP

Volunteer for 4 hours to set up homes for two new refugee families.

We will be setting up two apartments in Riverdale, Md. – bring a friend!

June 18th

SHOP

Buy 44 of the most needed items for new refugees off our Amazon Wishlist.

From pots and pans to rugs to toilet paper we need them all.

June 19th

GIVE

Drop off your gently used lamps, towels, bedding and dishes (our 4 most needed items.)

Collect in your neighborhood all week, and then bring all by our warehouse anytime before 4pm – 3610 East Street, Landover, 20785. Glasses also welcome; Queen & twin bedding only.

June 20th: World Refugee Day!
